A Bit About Me
Hey, I'm Emma.
I just wanted to tell you a little bit about myself and my experience.
I have been in the health and fitness industry for the past five years, beginning my journey as a Personal Trainer at David Lloyd Gym. I enjoyed working with people of all ages, helping them enhance their functional strength, balance, and coordination, boost their energy levels, and achieve personalised fitness goals.

During the Covid pandemic, I transitioned to online coaching and joined The 4% Club, where I focused on supporting women through the challenging phase of menopause. I aimed to improve their eating habits without restrictive diets, build healthy routines, and develop workout plans that fit seamlessly into their lives.

Menopause is a significant and often difficult period, marking the end of a woman's menstrual cycles and reproductive years, typically occurring between ages 45 and 55, though it can start earlier. This transition involves a decline in oestrogen and progesterone production, leading to symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, and sleep disturbances.

However, these symptoms can be managed through lifestyle adjustments, including a balanced diet, regular exercise, and stress management techniques, along with medical treatments like hormone replacement therapy (HRT). These strategies can help alleviate menopausal symptoms, ensuring a healthier and more comfortable transition.

I do not advocate for fad diets, carb-cutting, keto, Atkins, juice cleanses, or shakes. Instead, I promote a holistic, balanced approach, focusing on proper nutrition and portion sizes while allowing for the enjoyment of favourite foods in moderation.

I have a level 3 Personal Training qualification, Level 1 in Precision Nutrition, Level 2 in Counselling Skills & Level 3 in Counselling Studies.
